Adam Hall, Australian singer, composer, and an outstanding trumpet player, teamed up with The Velvet Playboys in 2005 - connected with the plan to establish an exciting, classic Rhythm & Blues band. To make it short: the plan worked perfectly. The band is characterized by its energetic live performance, together with a repertoire that immediately engages the audience. Added to this is a sensational multi-instrumental brass section, which could make one believe that a whole orchestra is in front of them. In this way, the band recalls the old days of the legendary Rat Pack or a Louis Prima in 1950s Las Vegas – swinging jazz, rockier Rhythm and Blues, and Boogie Woogie.
