Concert tickets and gastronomy can be paid for in cash, with EC, or credit card. For merchandise items of the artists, please have cash ready. The cloakroom can only be paid for in cash (2 euros).
At Nica Jazz Club, there is free seating. Seats cannot be reserved. If you want a specific seat, please arrive early. We will do everything possible to make your time pleasant until the concert begins.
For safety reasons, coats, large bags, backpacks, and similar items must be checked at the cloakroom. The cloakroom fee is 2 euros, and it can only be paid for in cash.
The bar usually opens 1.5 hours before the event starts.
The Nica Jazz Club is accessible at ground level, so it is barrier-free. There is a barrier-free restroom. From the Bucerius Passage Alter Wall parking garage, an elevator leads to the ground floor, where the Jazz Club is located.The cloakroom and bar counter are not barrier-free, the bar is about 1.10 meters high. We are happy to help here. For sold-out or well-attended concerts, it is worth arriving early. Wheelchair users are asked to contact us by phone in advance. The club has three wheelchair spaces. We ask for your understanding that wheelchairs can only be accommodated in the places approved by the authorities.
Severely disabled persons with the B mark in their disability ID who rely on an accompanying person pay the regular admission fee, while the accompanying person is admitted free of charge.
Children under 12 years of age accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge to Nica Jazz Club events. Young people under 16 receive a 50% discount and must be accompanied by an adult who is either a legal guardian or has written permission from a legal guardian to accompany the concert visit. From the age of 16, concerts can be attended alone. For designated external events, the conditions of the respective organizer apply. We ask that you do not bring babies and small children to the concerts, except, of course, for children's events.We recommend protecting especially younger children with self-brought hearing protection. Children are more sensitive to noise than adults and can suffer permanent hearing damage at high noise levels. Children's concerts are mixed so that there is no impairment, adhering to the BAG guidelines.For parties, admission is from 18 years or as specified by the age requirements of the event. For external events, the conditions of the respective organizer also apply here.Excerpt from the Youth Protection Act:§ 5 Dance Events (1) Attendance at public dance events without the accompaniment of a person with custody or an education officer is not permitted for children and young people under 16 years of age and is only permitted for young people over 16 years of age until 12 a.m. (2) Contrary to paragraph 1, attendance may be permitted for children until 10 p.m. and young people under 16 years of age until 12 a.m. if the dance event is organized by a recognized youth welfare organization or serves artistic activities or traditional customs. (3) The competent authority may grant exceptions.

Film, photo, audio, and video recordings are generally not permitted. Press accreditations can be requested via email at press@nica-jazzclub.de. For events by a concert agency, please direct your request to the agency.
There are three large columns in the concert hall. Depending on the angle, these can cause slight visual obstructions. Therefore, it is best to arrive early to secure the best seat for you.
Please understand that purchased tickets cannot be returned, and we ask you to pass them on yourself. In the event of concert postponements or cancellations, we will inform you about the procedure. For designated cooperative or third-party events, the cancellation conditions of the respective organizer apply.
At certain events, our guests may be photographed or filmed for television broadcasts, DVDs, and similar purposes. By attending, you give your consent for the Nica Jazz Club to use such recordings (including commercial use), provided that your personal interests are not unduly infringed. No compensation is owed to the customer for this use.
