Brekky BoyThree surfers who also ride musical waves, blending jazz, rock, minimal music, and influences from e.s.t. to Tigran Hamasyan.

World Surf League in Australia – and unfortunately it probably didn't work out there with the desired surfing career. Thereupon the three band members are said to have dedicated themselves to jazz - which is obvious... Since then, the Australians have taken every wave with them and plunged into spray-crowned waves with a lot of fun, surfed through jazz tides, kept themselves on the board even with the hardest polyrhythms and most powerful grooves and gave themselves spiritual when the water smoothed out again. The result: an unpredictable live show that combines electronica, beat music, jazz improvisation. The members of Brekky Boy are at home on the beaches of Sydney and have conquered the rest of the world from there with their humorous mix of electronica and jazz. The band was founded by former WWE wrestler Taylor Davis, who always struggles with his colleagues to find the right balance. But it seems to work. Jazz, rock, minimal music or influences from e.s.t. to Tigran Hamasyan artfully balance each other, and there is a remarkable balance between lyrical melodies and violent gaits. The trio's distinctive style has earned it a nomination for the Montreux Jazz Award. The band was also invited to open for Snarky Puppy, Kneebody and Theo Croker.
