Legendary drummer Chad Wackerman and the L.A. All-Stars are a unique example of incredible musicality, chemistry and energy that is not to be missed. This concert is the extremely rare opportunity to see these contemporary musical heavyweights perform together on stage: Chad Wackerman, Alex Machacek, Jimmy Haslip and Steve Hunt will play their own compositions, selected pieces by well-known comrades-in-arms such as Allan Holdsworth and the Yellow Jackets, as well as some of the absolute craziest, most breathtaking, inimitable, unique, improvised jams and spontaneous compositions - no one should be afraid of to miss it. Chad Wackerman is best known as the drummer who recorded the most with Frank Zappa and toured with him the longest, but also for his long-standing collaboration with guitar icon Allan Holdsworth. Alex Machacek is the master guitarist of the next generation. Alex has played with Terry Bozzio's "Out Trio", Brand X, Eddie Jobson's UKZ, Planet X, CAB and the Scott Kinsey Group, among others. Exceptional bassist Jimmy Haslip is a long-time member of the multi-Grammy award-winning bands Yellow Jackets and Jeff Lorber Fusion. Jimmy has also worked with Allan Holdsworth, and that's not enough: he's also a world-class producer. Keyboardist Steve Hunt is known for his collaborations with Allan Holdsworth, Stanley Clarke and Billy Cobham. Together they will bring the stage at Nica to a boil.
