The combination of music and drama offers personal and surprising insights into the moving life of the legendary jazz musician. The top-class cast includes trumpeter Ingolf Burkhardt (NDR Bigband), actor and dubbing artist Sascha Rotermund (Omar Sy, Benedict Cumberbatch, among others) and singer Ella Burkhardt, who has just been awarded the Jazz Baltica Festival's sponsorship prize.
