For over five decades, the Climax Blues Band has been one of the most respected and consistent live bands in the UK, blending blues, soul, funk, and rock into a sound that has traveled around the world. Their international breakthrough came with the global hit “Couldn’t Get It Right,” which reached number 3 on the US Billboard charts and became a defining moment for the band on the world stage. This year, the Climax Blues Band is celebrating the 50th anniversary of this groundbreaking single. After the death of founder and frontman Colin Cooper, the band continued with his blessing and the support of his family. The current lineup includes long-time members, such as keyboardist George Glover, who has been part of the Climax story since 1981. This year, the Climax Blues Band will release their new studio album “Evolution.” They are touring with their classic repertoire and powerful new material.
