For over five decades, the Climax Blues Band has been one of the UK's most respected and enduring live bands, fusing blues, soul, funk and rock into a sound that has gone around the world. Their international breakthrough came with the worldwide hit "Couldn't Get It Right", which reached number 3 on the US Billboard charts and became the band's defining moment on the world stage. This year, the Climax Blues Band celebrates the 50th anniversary of this groundbreaking single.
After the death of founder and frontman Colin Cooper, the band continued with his blessing and the support of his family. The current line-up consists of long-time members, including keyboardist George Glover, who has been part of Climax history since 1981. The band will release their new studio album "Evolution" this year.
