He gathers the best musicians around him and delivers groovy music that goes straight to the legs. The Campers is a collective of musicians who caused quite a stir in 2023 with their acclaimed debut album "Soul Fiction". In addition to international stars such as Cory Wong (Vulfpeck) and Justin Timberlake drummer Brian Frasier Moore, the absolute crème de la crème of the German music scene gathers around Cosmo Klein. Legends such as Benny Greb, Thomas Stieger, Felix Lehrmann, Noah Führbringer, Hanno Busch, Thorsten Skringer, Peter Weniger, Jakob Manz and many more have immortalized themselves on the album. Stylistically rooted in the great icons such as Prince, Marvin Gaye and James Brown, Cosmo Klein & The Campers nevertheless bring their very own, fresh and timeless sound to the stage.
Cosmo Klein's live qualities have become legendary. So much so that the SWR Big Band recently invited him to bring parts of his program to the stage together - including a TV recording, which can currently be found in the ARD media library. In 2008, the Berliner-by-choice founded the label COSMOPOLYTIX and released the two albums "Let's Work" and "Kingdom on Fire" in cooperation with Herzog Records. Thorsten Meyer/Jazzpodium aptly formulated: "All is not lost, as long as you can still set exclamation marks with contemporary funk."
