Passion for jazz music, infectious rhythms, and the joy of playing together – that's what the Criss Cross Big Band from Hamburg stands for. Their repertoire ranges from classic swing and jazz standards to funk and Latin, as well as modern big band arrangements and original compositions. This big band has a completely unique sound, not least because the majority of the pieces were arranged by long-time bandleader and founder Jochen Arp. At the beginning of 2022, Nils Gessinger took over the musical direction and has since contributed many of his own compositions as well. Get ready for a truly special musical experience.
