With AMARÉ, the trio around the singer Céline Rudolph, who has won several Echo Jazz awards, brings a concert to the Nica that is as fresh as it is emotionally charged. In their luggage: the recently released album AMARÉ. Céline Rudolph is no stranger to Hamburg audiences – with her musical versatility, poetic depth and, last but not least, her warm stage presence, she has already left impressive traces in previous concerts. For example, she performed at the Elbphilharmonie with Lionel Loueke. Now she is coming to the Nica Jazz Club with her newly founded trio, which combines Brazilian music and jazz with breathtaking ease, depth and passion. This trio redefines the interface between Brazilian music, chamber music sound language and contemporary jazz. They create a bold and poetic vision of what Brazilian jazz can sound like in 2025: intimate, intuitive, and incessantly in flux. And Rudolph's voice, which moves between lyricism and improvisation, reveals intimacy and openness, reminds us why TSF Jazz France calls it a "pearl of European vocal jazz. In 2024, she was consequently awarded the German Jazz Prize.
