With an infectious mix of soul, jazz and rhythm & blues, the Delvon Lamarr Trio proves to be a band in high flight. Their grooves and lush sounds are lively jam sessions. Formed in Seattle, the trio conjures up a classic instrumental sound with a groundbreaking, virtuoso sensibility, which is undoubtedly reflected on their debut album "Close But No Cigar". After a live performance at the Ustream Music Festival, the recording of which has already generated over 5 million clicks, the Delvon Lamarr Trio gained worldwide attention. The trio was formed in the spring of 2015 with the help of Amy Novo, Delvon's wife and current manager. She told her husband that she would take care of his music career, and all he had to do was find musicians, write music and play. In the first year, the trio played weekly at "The Royal Room Seattle", followed by the release of the first album, still without a record deal, and short tours in the Pacific Northwest. Today, the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio plays headlining concerts and shares their infectious grooves with enthusiastic listeners around the world. So Amy's plan worked. With Delvon's soulful organ sound, Josh´s explosive guitar sound and Ehssan´s perfect pocket drumming, the three convince with a unique mixture of soul, jazz, rhythm & blues and rock & roll.
