With the American blues musician Eric Bibb, a real great of the blues genre is coming back to Nica. In a career spanning more than five decades, he has continuously developed traditional acoustic blues with influences from gospel and folk. With over 40 albums and several Grammy nominations – most recently for his acclaimed work "Ridin'" – the virtuoso guitarist and songwriter is considered one of the most gripping storytellers in the current music landscape. His new album was recorded in Sweden and produced by Grammy-nominated Glen Scott. The work features high-profile international guests such as British guitar legend Robbie McIntosh (Paul McCartney, John Mayer) and folk icon Janis Ian, who co-wrote the title song. The album sees itself as an unmistakable call for peace, justice and unity in a divided world. In it, Bibb interweaves historical stories of America with apt reflections on the present.
