The young funk band Funky Times can certainly be described as an Internet sensation. Her virtuoso, funky, good-humoured videos have regularly gone viral on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok since their inception in early 2020 and have resulted in a variety of collaborations with musicians from all over the world, such as bassist Henrik Linder of Dirty Loops or former Prince trumpeter Philip Lassiter. Funk legend Candy Dulfer also became aware of her in this way. "One of my favourite new bands," she said about Funky Times and invited the band to their concert series "Candy's Choice" in Amsterdam.
