Internationally acclaimed guitar virtuoso Greg Howe returns to Europe with an extraordinary line-up – including legendary drummer Dennis Chambers. For the first time in many years, Greg Howe can also be seen on tour with a keyboardist, who adds an important new dimension to the live sound and opens the door to greater harmonic depth, interaction and improvisation. The tour also reunites Howe with bassist Jon Reshard, with whom he has a long-standing musical relationship and who was featured on Howe's acclaimed album "Sound Proof". His familiarity with Howe's musical language, combined with his distinctive playing, is a significant vocal color for Howe's music.
The concert will focus on "Extraction", Howe's seminal collaboration with Dennis Chambers and Victor Wooten. Originally released in 2003, the album brought together three exceptional musicians into a powerful instrumental fusion recording that remains a milestone in the genre to this day. Despite its influence, "Extraction" never went on tour. Thus, this 2027 "Extraction" European tour with Dennis Chambers is the first opportunity to experience the majority of this acclaimed music live.
