Ian Paice is the legendary drummer of Deep Purple and currently the only remaining founding member of the band. With the band Purpendicular he comes to the Nica to bring Best-Of-Classic-Deep-Purple to the stage. Ian Paice can be experienced live and up close in a club atmosphere. Deep Purple has been hailed as one of the most innovative and successful rock bands of all time since the '70s, and Paice's drumming has had a huge influence on that. Their music is characterized by the balance between ingenious musicality and monumental simplicity. In addition to Deep Purple, Paice himself played with Whitesnake, Gary Moore and worked with Jon Lord, Paul McCartney and Pete York of the Spencer Davis Group, among others.
