Julian und Roman Wasserfuhr QuartettMusic that transcends borders and always remains authentic - once again, the brothers present their very own Wasserfuhr sound.

For these two brothers, "growing up in public" – a famous album title by Lou Reed – has become second nature. They recorded their album debut "Remember Chet" at the age of 17 and 20 respectively – a tribute to Julian's early role model, trumpeter Chet Baker – and had met with an enthusiastic response. Die Zeit found the brothers' music "amazingly unusual", the Süddeutsche Zeitung attested to Julian Wasserfuhr's "magical tone", but above all the general public embraced the brothers from the dreamy village of Hückeswagen. After six successful albums, they are now among the most renowned jazz musicians in Germany. "Mosaic" is the name of the new album by the Wasserfuhr brothers and describes their musical processing of the last two years. As different as the individual titles and the emotions associated with them as well as the selection of musicians and friends on this album are, it still creates a coherent picture. A mosaic that was created from the experiences, conversations and encounters with people during this time. Another chapter in her impressive career. "Trumpeter Julian Wasserfuhr has matured into one of the best in his field worldwide: insane virtuosity in the service of tonal beauty, melodic ideas, lurking rock feelings, the contemplative islands on the flugelhorn with its goosebump beauty."
