
New York-based trumpeter Keyon Harrold is deeply rooted in post-bop and is one of the world's most sought-after musicians, with hip-hop as well as R&B, soul and funk flowing from his horn. The Grammy Award winner has risen to the top spheres of the international music world in recent years. He is one of the most sought-after trumpeters, arrangers and producers of our time across genres and is making his eagerly awaited Nica Jazz Club debut tonight. A talent that only comes around once in a generation, his approach and sound are personal and captivating. He is often referred to as the modern-day Miles Davis. Keyon was also the trumpet voice of Miles Davis in the film "Miles Ahead", for which he received a Grammy Award. In addition, he is a sought-after studio musician, having recorded with Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Common, 50-Cent, Keith Richards or Diana Ross and works in jazz with Gregory Porter and David Sandborn.
