"We are all children from a common root, under the same sky." Under this same sky, the title of her current CD, the singer from Buenos Aires and her multinational band have gathered great songs from her homeland Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Spain, timbres from tango, Argentine folklore, samba, flamenco and bossa nova - and combined them with jazz and originals in her unique way. "Bajo un mismo cielo" gives a musical voice to the commitment to creative togetherness. Through their two albums "nomade" and "Huellas", countless concerts, Lily Dahab and her quartet have gained a large fan base. Because she is fascinated by this deeply felt vocal art, which carries all facets from sparkling passion to intimate melancholy. In the meantime, Lily and her band and orchestra have twice sold out the chamber music hall of the Berlin Philharmonic with 1,100 people. Now she visits us for the first time at Nica.
