Manu Delago & Mad About Lemon"A masterful and sensitive musician” (The Telegraph)

When the two-time Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist Manu Delago was just two years old, he was already sitting on the drums and drumming. Since then, the Tyrolean has enjoyed setting the pace, whether in collaboration with Björk, Shpongle, Ellie Goulding, Anoushka Shankar or as a soloist with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Metropole Orkest. Nevertheless, he is not a sole determiner, on the contrary: mutual listening and creative appreciation are important to him. Normally, Delago expresses himself without words. But for his album "Snow From Yesterday", which was created in collaboration with the Swiss vocal trio Mad About Lemon, he is now venturing into his own song lyrics. Despite serious topics such as melting icebergs and rising sea levels, there is a hopeful silver lining in it.
Delago's handpan virtuosity creates soulful sounds over which the interwoven vocals of the three singers of Mad About Lemon can spread. Glacial mountains, rivers down to the smallest drops of water are sung about and stories are told about journeys and stations of life that connect us with places and people and can change us sustainably. Delago is known for its creative and exciting live concerts. He and his fellow musicians are now going on a European tour together, not only using various acoustic and electronic instruments, but also contributing shapes and colors to visual works of art that are created live with the music. As with Delago's previous concerts, the audience can expect a highly creative and exciting performance.
