It cannot be said that Moisés P. Sánchez is a strict purist – the Spanish pianist's curriculum vitae includes collaborations with Placido Domingo, Wolfgang Haffner and Benny Golson, as well as prizes for the best jazz album in the USA and his home country or ballet reinterpretations of Igor Stravinsky's "Le sacre du printemps". Sánchez sends his audience on a music-historical roller coaster ride that begins somewhere in the early 20th century and repeatedly makes detours to a very diverse range of references only creators with a vast musical background have in their heads and hands.
The piano playing of Moisés P. Sánchez is a compendium of all good music and reflects a personality characterized by a broad and deep knowledge, a boundless instrumental ability and a sensitivity combined with a beautiful, inner poetry. At this concert, he will be supported by a strong rhythmic backing, accompanied by bassist Pablo Martín Caminero and drummer Borja Barrueta. "Dedication II" is Moisés' latest release, consisting of songs full of vitality and expressive pulse, to be displayed at this unforgettable concert.
