With "Spiritual Connection", Nigel Kennedy creates connections between composers and continents and shows exciting parallels. With his unique expressiveness and innovative power as well as his virtuosity, he is one of the world's leading violin virtuosos. Since his sensational debut in 1977 with Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor under Riccardo Muti, an impressive career in classical music followed. But then he was drawn to new shores: the virtuoso, who was introduced to jazz improvisation by jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli as a teenager, first incorporated jazz pieces as encores into his concerts until he then also developed crossover programs. After his concerts, he was also a guest in the most famous jazz clubs of the world's metropolises for nightly jam sessions. Today he does not appear as a session guest - at the Nica Jazz Club he presentes his fascinating program "Spiritual Connection".
