After the huge success of the first Purple 4 Life show in May, we are excited to turn it into a regular series of events. In each new edition, unique and ever new live arrangements of the grandmaster Prince are presented - passionately and rousing performed by Cosmo Klein and his incredible band. This makes every concert a special experience for all Prince fans and music lovers and for all those who simply love to dance and love good music.
Prince knew how to walk between genres like no other - funk, rock, pop, soul and especially jazz merged into his very own musical cosmos. Especially live, he impressively demonstrated his versatility again and again with complex improvisations, virtuoso arrangements and stylistic openness. This complexity is also at the heart of the Purple 4 Life show. In addition to fresh, creative reinterpretations, Cosmo Klein will of course also present well-known classics such as "Kiss", "Sign o' the Times" or "Purple Rain". For Cosmo Klein, Prince is not only a musical role model, but also a benchmark when it comes to artistic integrity, discipline and the demands placed on his musicians. Musicality and true dedication are at the forefront of Purple 4 Life – and so Cosmo gathers some of the best musicians on the German and international scene to keep Prince's legacy alive at the highest level. Even the renowned SWR Big Band has already invited Klein to play parts of the show with them – no one was left on their chairs for long. That's how it was in May at Nica, when everyone was dancing after the second song. Today we simply have to dance again!
