Ron Minis Trio"If Ludwig van Beethoven were alive today we think he would approve." (Radio.com)

Ron Minis is a force of nature. His compositions are hard to beat in their diversity. His trio moves restlessly and energetically between lyrical phrases and merciless rhythms. The Israeli pianist with the distinctive blue beard creates music full of emotions, seduces with gentle melodies, abruptly changes into hammering staccato and ends in spherical soundscapes without ever losing the arc of suspense. And he grabs the electric guitar in the middle of the concert, blurring the grand piano, which is distorted by a second guitar amp. Ron Minis received classical piano lessons, later let off steam in various punk, noise and metal projects and has a soft spot for mechanical and electronic tinkering – in a YouTube video that went viral, you can watch him disassemble a piano and build an electric guitar out of it. In his compositions, the charismatic musician draws on the numerous experiences he has gained in the course of his musical career. After being a member of various punk, noise and metal bands, he now brings his skills to his own jazz piano trio. In his current music, the man from Tel Aviv is inspired by the Middle Eastern culture of Israel or the influence of artists such as Tigran Hamasyan. His masterful playing has already taken the trio to numerous concert halls in Europe and to renowned festival stages such as the one in Montreux.
