Rotem Sivan's guitar skills have now spread around the globe, Downbeat Magazine called him "a remarkable talent". Rotem graduated with honors in classical composition and jazz performance from Tel Aviv University and the New School in NYC. Since then, he has been touring with his band and has been a guest on all international stages. The focus is always on an eventful interplay and the pure fascination with sound. In this way, he develops a sound image of the finest, rhythmic phrasing and straightforward melodic approaches. With his trio, he knows how to implement extremely complex musical ideas in a casual and at the same time elegant way and to create sounds that are accessible, unforced and yet complex and deep. Jazz merges skilfully with classical-Mediterranean elements and folk. Sivan has been called "the next guitarist of our time" by legend Peter Berstein, he is certainly one of the most promising guitarists of his generation. He is once again on tour in Europe with his trio and makes his debut in Hamburg.
