In 2025, San Glaser will celebrate her 20th anniversary as a solo artist. To mark the occasion, she recorded her new, sixth album in spring - and this time not in the studio, but live at Birdland, her adopted home of Hamburg. San's personal "Best of 20 Years" consists of songs from her previous five albums, which shine in new, exciting arrangements together with a terrific band. On stage, the singer and composer and her musicians combine charm and nonchalance, bubbling energy and brashness, melancholy and longing, transporting musical magic and pure authenticity. San Glaser has always boldly and tastefully expanded her musical spectrum. "In the end, of course, it is and remains jazz. However, jazz with new friends. I just take the liberty of interspersing rough edges every now and then," said San Glaser. By new friends, she means, among other things, singer-songwriters and folk nuances. Their own compositions come into play on this evening as well as standards and classics. Her career began in 2005 and it will definitely not end with 2025 - rather, San starts the next 20 years on stage with this wonderful anniversary concert.
