Torsten GoodsSoul Searching Christmas Special

The name says it all: "Soul Searching", the new, already seventh album by Torsten Goods, is more than a source of fresh feel-good music. It is influenced by jazz, soul, blues and the laid-back West Coast/AOR sounds of the late 70s in California, with guests such as Randy Brecker, Nils Landgren or Bireli Lagrene. "Soul Searching" also tells the very personal story of the optical transformation of the "gifted on the guitar as well as as as a singer, and who has therefore already been called the German George Benson" (SZ). His search for identity, which also involved getting used to his new appearance due to an autoimmune disorder, is the central theme.
Goods celebrates his "soul searching" with Jan Miserre on keyboards and piano, Felix Lehrmann on drums and Thomas Stieger on bass, in other words: the band behind the new album - perfectly rehearsed for fourteen years and finally on tour again since autumn, in Germany, but also in Switzerland, the UK and of course Ireland, the home of his mother and family. The focus of the concert is the new album, but the fan favorites from Good's previous albums are not to be missed. Tonight's programme will be complemented by Christmas songs - a unique experience, full of heartfelt, virtuoso played, acoustic happiness. The recipe: "Smooth vocals, fast guitars and feelgood grooves".
