Vanisha Gould, a New York-based vocalist, draws inspiration from musical icons such as Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Carmen McRae, and Ella Fitzgerald. She has released the duo album Life’s a Gig with pianist Chris McCarthy and most recently the quartet album She's Not Shiny, She's Not Smooth on Cellar Live. On this tour, she brings her dynamic sound to audiences alongside the Chris Andersen Quartet. The band has previously toured across Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, captivating audiences with their sophisticated and soulful
performances. Downbeat Magazine says the following about Gould: “Gould has the touch of a modern artist with an old soul who would make the pantheon of legendary singers smile — crystal clear, concise, not a syllable wasted and a tone dripping with humor, knowledge and pathos.” Now Vanisha Gould is back in Europe.
