Vincent Peirani - Living BeingVincent Peirani blends accordion, jazz, and modern sounds into unique music.

Once again, world-class accordionist Vincent Peirani reshuffles the cards. Typical, because the Frenchman has proven one thing again and again in the course of his career: In his boundless musical world, the next step is exactly the one you least expect from him. Jazz, world music, classical music, chanson or pop are equally easy for him. But anyone who listens to his music recognizes that Peirani has also made the accordion a veritable rock'n'roll instrument. Actually, Vincent Peirani wanted to learn drums. However, his father urged him to play the accordion. He is now a master at this. Now his new album has been released - with "Living Being IV: Time Reflections", Vincent Peirani and his quintet present a work that is deeply rooted in musical reflection and exploration of time. Vincent Peirani's collaboration with artists from different fields gives his music an intertextual dimension. In this album, the influences of the Beninese guitarist Lionel Loueke and the German pianist Michael Wollny are clearly evident in two tracks dedicated to them. These resonances exemplify the richness and diversity that characterize Peirani's work, providing a musical experience that is both introspective and universal.
